Standards
The purpose of these standards is to establish a framework for classifying Western data based on its level of sensitivity, value and criticality to the University. Classification of data will aid in determining baseline security controls for the protection and handling of data.
These Standards apply to all faculty, staff, students, third-party agents of the University as well as any other University affiliates, such as affiliated colleges, who are authorized to access Western data.
